Educational institutions eligible to participate in the ORCA program include individual public and private schools, as well as public school districts. Examples include universities, community colleges, technical and vocational colleges, high schools, private preparatory schools and academies, and entire school districts.

ORCA gives schools the flexibility to customize transportation product options for their students, faculty and staff. The ORCA system also provides accurate ridership data for budget planning. Since ORCA cards are good for approximately four years, schools no longer have to worry about handing out monthly passes or multi-rides - simply distribute the card once and reload it. Cards can be turned off when school is not in session via our easy to use web interface.
